A Place For You In God’s House

“Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God; trust also in me.  In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Do you know that Jesus has already prepared a place for you in Heaven?!!  Yes, he has!  In the gospel of John, the Lord spoke to his disciples about his Father’s house (God’s house); how it has many rooms, and how he was going there to prepare a place for them!  Yet Jesus was not just saying this to his 12 disciples sitting all around him, he was also saying it to us, his new covenant disciples!  The Lord has made us an eternal home in heaven with him!  How exciting is that?!!!  What is even more exciting is that Jesus promised all of his disciples that he would not just prepare a place in heaven for us, but he would also come back and take us to be with him where he is!  What an Amazing promise that is!  That has to be the BEST promises ever made!  There is so much to look forward to as believers / disciples of Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach)!  One day we are going to see our precious Savior face to face and our hearts will no longer be troubled!  So as long as we are still here on this earth, let us continue to trust in God as well as his son Jesus Christ, our Messiah!  Let not your heart be troubled, because Jesus is coming back to take us to his Father’s house where he has prepared a place for you to be with him Forever!
