My Times Are In Your Hands

But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.”  My times are in your hands…”

– Psalm 31:14-15

When I think about this scripture written by King David to the Lord that says “My times are in your hands,” it makes me think about the appointed time set for the Rapture sitting within the hands of this heavenly clock created by the Lord God Almighty!  Now the question is: can God REALLY place the appointed time for the Rapture within the heavens??!  Well, if we think about it, God said in Genesis 1:14, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years…”  The Hebrew word for signs in that verse is “Owth” which stands for (in the sense of appearing); a signal, as a flag or a beacon.  So the sun, moon, and stars in the heavens are God’s signals to his people.  It’s just like a coach on a team waving a flag to get your attention or like a beacon of light set up in a high prominent position used as a warning, a signal, or a guide.  The Lord gives his people signals as warnings in order for them to know precisely what time it is and what they need to be doing at that time.  So if the Lord can give us warning signals in the heavens, do you think the Lord will reveal the appointed time for the Rapture in the heavens?  I certainly believe so!  The warning signals alone should signify and point to the day of the Rapture, because that is the Precise day that we are ALL to be watching for!  And I believe that the Lord has written it all in the heavens for his children to see and understand Exactly what time it is, because our times are Most Definitely in His Hands!
