God’s Word Like Fire

“Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?”

– Jeremiah 23:29

Isn’t it Awesome how the Lord equates his very word to Fire??  Fire is an element that is extremely Powerful because when it burns, it engulfs and completely consumes!  And that is Precisely what God’s Word does to his people!  It IS the Truth and it completely engulfs us!  It completely consumes us!  It completely burns up and tears down the old man we used to be and it becomes a Burning Raging Fire within us Ignited from only a small spark!  We are transformed daily into the new man the Lord desires us to be as our old man melts away!  The Lord desires for us to be ON FIRE for Him!  He wants the flame of His Word to dwell so much within YOU that this Raging Fire of Truth cannot be contained!  It MUST be released out into the world around you!  The Lord wants YOU to be a Bright Shining light out in this dark world pointing everyone to Him!  Is Not His Word like FIRE in YOU??
