I watched as he opened the sixth seal.  There was a great earthquake.  The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.  The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

What I find to be Amazing is that most Jewish people do not believe that the New Testament scriptures are true or even relevant; even this passage of scripture written by John in the book of Revelation about The Day of The Lord!  However, in their very own Tanakh, the prophet Joel wrote in Joel 2:31 that the sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great day of the Lord!  And that perfectly aligns with what John wrote in Revelation 6, where he stated that the sun would turn black like sackcloth made of goathair and the whole moon would turn blood red!  Basically, the prophet Joel and the prophet John were prophesying the EXACT Same Thing!  Going further, the prophet Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 34:4 that all the heavens will be dissolved and the sky rolled up like a scroll, which is PRECISELY what the prophet John saw in Revelation 6, where he stated that the sky will recede like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island will be removed from its place!  Yet, if ALL That were not enough, the prophet Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 34:4 that all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from a vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree…  Identically, the prophet John wrote in Revelation 6 that the stars fell to the earth as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind!  COME ON!!!  ALL these prophets from different times and generations in history are prophesying the EXACT SAME THING about The Day of The Lord!  How can that be possible?!!  By the Holy Spirit!  And rest assured that if everything from the Old Testament PERFECTLY aligns with what is written in the New Testament, then that makes the New Testament just as valid as the Old Testament!  Yet one thing is for sure… that if ALL these prophets from different times and generations in history could ALL prophesy the SAME THING about The Day of The Lord, then we can be 100 percent sure that The Day of The Lord will be Exactly as it is written in the scriptures, to a tee!  Are YOU ready for this Great Day of The Lord?!
