A New Heaven & Earth

The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.  Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you be?  You ought to live holy and godly lives expecting and hastening the day of God.  That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.  But in looking forward to his promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.

– 2 Peter 3:10-13

Can you believe that there are religions, churches, and organizations out there who actually claim that they are “Christian,” yet they preach something Entirely contrary to the Word of God, claiming that there will be No new heaven or new earth?!!  They even go so far as to peddle their false doctrine from door to door in hopes to impose their lying deceit on naive ears who do not know the real Truth clearly stated in the Word of God!  They fully intend on entangling every single one of their listeners into a web of lies!  Yet if we follow this scripture in 2nd Peter back to the original Greek, we clearly read that the elements of this earth are going to be completely destroyed by Fire!  The heavens and and all the elements of this world are going to burn away with INTENSE Melting Heat!!  To the naive who do not have the Holy Spirit giving them sound discernment, the false promise that this world is going to remain and one day become heaven sounds pretty enticing, but those who truly have God living on the inside of them through the Holy Spirit know that this is nothing more than a ploy to pull people in because it does not line up with the Word of God!  And anything that does not line up with the Word of God is a bold-faced lie from the enemy!  Peter went on to say that we are to Look Forward to this promise of a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness!  We cannot be naive, trying to cling to this world and everything in it, because if we are then we are going to desire to stay in a world that is only going to be destroyed!  We must cling tightly to Jesus (Yeshua) and his Truth written in the Word of God so that we will not fall for deceit, instead, we will be saved out of this world!  Those who cling tightly to Jesus (Yeshua) will have the promise of one day rejoicing in a new heaven and a new earth!
