Follow The Light Of Life

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

– John 8:12

Isn’t it Awesome how the Lord Jesus calls himself Light?  What is even more Amazing is that the Lord calls himself the Light of Life!  Jesus put it so simple for even a child to understand who he is!  He Is the Light!  Yet he IS also Your Life!  And Oh how we NEED him!  In this world full of darkness we Need the Light to shine Brightly so we can see!  We need to be able to see clearly where we are going and what path to take without walking blindingly and aimlessly through this world!  We need to know Who we are following…  Are we following the world or are we following Jesus who is the light of life?  Jesus put it so plainly when he said, “he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness…”  So we can definitely know that if we are following Jesus then we will not be walking in darkness.  Darkness is the exact opposite of Light and Life!  So when you are walking in darkness, you cannot see Jesus!  Since this world is full of darkness, then you know that you will not be following the ways of this world if you are following Jesus!  Jesus put it clearly when he said that he that followeth him shall have the light of life!  If you have Jesus in your heart then you will follow him and you will be walking in the light!  Just know today that Jesus loves You!  He loves Your Life and He loves Your heart because he created You!  Choose today to follow the Light of Your Life!
