Inseparable From God’s Love

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” 

-Romans 8:37-39

Have you ever felt the furthest away from God’s love?  You feel the sharp sting of defeat and shame again from messing up and falling back into the same old trap of sin after receiving Jesus Christ into your heart.  You made a determined effort not to sin, but here you are in the same mess again.  All you really want to do is run and hide in a hole somewhere.  The last thing you feel like doing is bringing up your sin before your heavenly Father.  Now you are wondering if God will ever hear you again.  Condemnation begins to set in, making you think you deserve nothing but punishment from your heavenly Father for what you have done.  You expect that if you cry aloud to God for forgiveness, you will not receive it.  And you start to doubt that God still loves you.  Well just know today that God does still love you no matter what!  He has not left you!  You may temporarily feel down and defeated, but just know that God will not keep you there because he loves you!  Nothing in ALL creation shall separate you from the love of God!  Do not hesitate to bring all of your sins to God in prayer for forgiveness with sincere repentance from your heart because he always hears you, he cares for you, and he is forgiving!  Don’t continue to live your life defeated, because God has made you more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ!
