Ordained Praise

But when the chief priests and teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant. “Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him. “Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read, ” ‘From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise’ ?”

– Matthew 21:15-16

Isn’t it Awesome how the Lord has ordained praise from the lips of children!  Even children as tiny as infants praise the Lord!  That goes to show us that the Lord purposefully gives every single one of us a heart to know him even when we are little children!  Now that is Incredible!!  The Lord has appointed little children to praise him long before they grow in the knowledge and ways of this world.  And one way or another the Lord will get ALL the Praise!  If his praise can’t come through the mouths of grown-up adults who actually think they know things, then he will make it come from children who actually know him!  He will confound those who think they know something, but know nothing at all!  The Lord will use children for his Praise because they are innocent and pure!  They have not been tainted and corrupted by this world.  The Lord always chooses to use what is small to baffle what is great!  He will bring down the pride of those who walk in arrogance and sneer at his beloved children, while his children go on praising him from the overflowing joy within their hearts!  If you are his child today, just know that he has ordained praise from YOU!
