Sonship Of Jesus

“I will proclaim the decree of the Lord:  He said to me, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father.”

– Psalm 2:7

Isn’t it Amazing that we have an actual account of Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) sonship written in the Old Testament?!!  I certainly think so!  It is also proof to God’s chosen Jewish people that God actually has a son!  Many Jewish people do not believe that God could possibly have a son, but he assuredly does!  When David wrote this psalm in the Old Testament, he was filled with the Holy Spirit and he declared a decree of the Lord that the Lord was making to Jesus (Yeshua)!  God was decreeing that Jesus (Yeshua) was Indeed His son and that He was Indeed his Father!  And when God decrees something, can we take it lightly?!!  No Way!  It’s just like a King making a decree that can NEVER be reversed or altared!  The sonship of Jesus can Never be reversed or altared by Anything or Anybody!  That is how Important the sonship of Jesus (Yeshua) IS!  And that is how Important the sonship of Jesus (Yeshua) should be for us ALL!  You see, if it weren’t for Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) sonship, there would be No Hope of Salvation and there would be No Escape from the bondage of sin!  The sonship of Jesus (Yeshua) helped bridge the gap of heaven and earth!  It made a way for All believers in Jesus (Yeshua) to enter into heaven!  How GREAT is this decree of the Lord!  How GREAT is the sonship of Jesus (Yeshua)!
