Early in the morning on August 9, 2016, right before I woke up, I had a dream where I was standing in the middle of this city that had stone walls all around it and the ground was sandy brown. It seemed as if I was the only one in the city because I did not see anyone else around me. There was an archway in the stone wall at the entrance of the city and I stood and looked at it from a distance. All of a sudden I saw this man on a dark brown horse appear at the arched entrance. The man was dressed in a robe with red on it. I saw that the man also had long medium brown hair with a slight wave or curl in it that came down almost to his shoulders. I could not see the man’s face, but I could see that he was wearing a gold crown on his head. I knew it was Jesus! Jesus was sitting right at the doorway of this city like he was just about to walk through at any second, but he was sitting there waiting to come in at any moment!

I couldn’t hardly believe my eyes in this dream – that I was actually seeing Jesus! I couldn’t understand why it seemed like no one else could see that he was standing right at the door except me and why there was no big commotion over him being there! Instead it seemed like I was the only one there watching for him… and he was right at the door!
When I woke up I pondered over this dream some more and felt the need to look up scriptures dealing with Jesus being at the door. The two scriptures that really spoke to me were:

Revelation 3:20 that says – “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with them, and he with me.”
Luke 12:35-36 says– “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like men waiting for their Master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.”

I believe that the Lord was trying to tell me through this dream that Jesus is right at the door – that he is standing at the door right now ready to come in at any moment – and we all need to be watching and waiting for him to come in the Rapture! We all need to be watching and waiting for Jesus excitedly and expectantly to come rapture us out of this world!

Are you ready for Jesus to come in the Rapture? Are you hopefully and excitedly watching for him??

If not, then there are things in your life that you are placing before Jesus and you might not have a real personal intimate relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit. More than ever, now is the time for you to be cultivating your personal relationship with Jesus and learning how to hear his voice, what his voice sounds like, and how he speaks to you! If you are not setting aside your own quiet time to get alone with the Lord and speak to him and allow him to speak to you, then you are not taking the time to cultivate your relationship with him!

If you are placing things in your life before Jesus, then you need to cut those things out! It might seem painful to do that, but trust me, if those things are not leading you closer to Jesus, then they are only a distraction leading you further away from him! These are the things that you need to examine in your own life and take control of!  If there are other things in your life that you do not have any control over, such as an addiction, then that is something that the Holy Spirit is going to have to help you with! You must be getting into the Word of God daily and allowing God’s Word to get in you! If you are not daily getting into God’s Word, then that is a sure-fire sign that you are not staying in tune with the Lord and what he is trying to say, because the Lord speaks to us through His Word! We need to be staying in God’s Word to allow his word to transform us from the inside out! If we are not reading his Word, then we are not absorbing the truth, we are only absorbing lies from the world! We cannot distinguish what is right from what is wrong if we do not have the truth in our lives… We cannot distinguish what is true from what is a lie if we do not have God’s Word in our hearts! So get into the Word of God and read it daily!

Additionally, if you have been saved and have asked the Lord to fill you with the Holy Spirit, then you need to be cultivating your communication to the Lord through the Holy Spirit by speaking in tongues and doing it as much as possible – even as the Word of God says – on ALL occasions! The Holy Spirit will give you wisdom and discernment about all things and will also give you guidance and direction in all situations in life. That is why it is vital for everyone to have the Holy Spirit dwelling within them richly! The Holy Spirit is not just a counselor, but your protection and safety!

Ultimately, right now there is no more time to be questioning what you believe in! The time is NOW that you make a choice and firmly decide what you believe, because time is short and Jesus is not waiting on us to get it right… He is waiting to be told by God when it is time to walk through the door! So be ready NOW!!

Jesus is at the door!
