I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You.

Have you hidden God’s Word in your heart today?  My sister once reminded me of something I said to her about the Word of God that stuck with her for a number of years…  She remembered me asking her the question: What would happen if the Word of God were ever taken away from us, what would we do?  You see, we have the honor and privilege of having the Word of God at our fingertips – being able to freely pick it up at anytime of any day, but what if things ever got to the point where our access to the Word of God were restricted?  Would the Word of God be so engrained within us that we could remember every single word or would we be the ones scrambling to get our hands on a copy of the Word of God just so we can remember the words?  One thing is for certain… there is coming a time of Great Famine for the Word of God (The Truth)!  Whether we want to go ahead and acknowledge that and get the Word of God in us while we still have time, that is completely up to us!  Hiding the Word of God in our hearts is going to be important because when this spiritual famine for Truth comes, people are going to scramble to those who actually know the Truth and have spent time in the Word of God.  God is counting on YOU to remember His Word!  God is counting on YOU to remember His Truth!  God is counting on YOU to hide his Word in your heart that you might not sin against him and when this spiritual famine hits, He is going to want you to teach others how to do the same!
