Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jesus is the only way to truth, to life, and to God the Father in heaven!  There is no other way!  You cannot make it to heaven by going through a priest or any other human medium or idol!  You have to accept Jesus into your heart and be filled with the Holy Spirit!  You cannot expect that your good works are going to get you into heaven, because God created all things and has no need for anything!  You cannot expect that you have never sinned or done anything wrong in your entire life and have no need for what Jesus did for you on the cross; if so, then the Word of God calls you a liar, for everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God!  And you cannot expect playing dress to impress at “church” every Sunday morning all to be a glorified pew warmer – wearing your “Christian” nametag – then heading home to live a worldly lifestyle is going to get you into heaven either, because frankly God is not impressed and he sees your heart underneath all the masks you wear!  The Lord genuinely loves you and cares about you and your heart!  He doesn’t want you to have to play pretend games with him!  He doesn’t want you to have to work your way to heaven!  He doesn’t want you to run to anyone else to find him!   Jesus wants you to come straight to him!  That is exactly what he paid for!  His blood shed on the cross paid for your direct access to God the Father!  Accept what Jesus did for you today, humbly receive him into your heart, and be filled up with the Holy Spirit, because he loves you so much that he wanted you to know ahead of time in His Word that he is the only way, the only truth, and the only life!
